Press the eject button to release the filter from the base grille.

Pull the filter straight out.

Turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it from the filter. Do not discard the cap. It is part of your refrigerator. Keep the cap to use with the replacement filter. 

Open the door to the refrigerator and check for leaks.

Place the six-month replacement calendar label on the

inside of the door.

The filter needs to be installed with care for filtering out water in the proper way. To be on the safe side, it is recommended to replace your filter after a period of 180 days for avoiding health-related concerns. Customer Service
